Chief Human Resources Officer
The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is responsible for partnering with the Executive Staff to develop and execute human resource strategy in support of the strategic direction and business plan of the Academy. The functional responsibilities of the CHRO include talent management, organizational and performance management, training and development, employee relations, recruitment and retention, compensation and benefit management and organizational policy development. The CHRO provides strategic leadership by articulating human resources needs and plans to the executive staff, the CEO, and the board of directors. The CHRO demonstrates decisiveness and models the Academy’s cultural values and attributes.
Part-Time Specialist, Membership
At the American Academy of Neurology, there is nothing more important than our members—some of the most talented neurologists in the world—and it is our job to assist them in accessing the kind of top-quality education, research, and networking that can help them excel at their jobs: providing the best possible care for patients with neurologic disease. We are looking for a dynamic, part-time customer service representative to join our Membership department. This person will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members, patients, caregivers, and staff; assist with providing information on AAN membership, products, and services; and accurately and expeditiously process and maintain data pertaining to member records.
